Shortly after ten o’clock last night Folsom police officers responded to the report of gun
shots being fired in the 400 block of Turnpike Drive. Upon their arrival they located
seven .25 caliber shell casings on the street, but no victims or suspects were located. A
white Mercedes was seen leaving the area towards Blue Ravine Road.

Parks and Recreation is recruiting local organizations, businesses and families to adopt a tree in an enchanted forest of 80 trees. The zoo will supply the trees, one for each of the zoo animal residents. Volunteers who adopt a tree will be asked to donate LED lighting and decorations, and to decorate their tree.
