Lightning Strikes Spark Fires

In northern California the US Forest Service reports another 78 lightning strikes sparked fires for 115 acres and the Bureau of Land Management has another 19 fires for 6 acres.

The National Weather Service is calling for continued lightning today.

It is extremely important that residents be extra cautious right now, as crews are busy with lightning sparked fires and we can’t afford a negligent human caused fire. Lightning strikes are dangerous!
