Bah Humbug, Home Burglaries Increase

The City of Folsom experienced a rash of residential burglaries over the Thanksgiving holiday. Beginning November 21st until today, Folsom Police responded to ten home burglaries within the city limits.

They began in the Natoma Station neighborhood on Monday and ended with a series of burglaries north of the American River.

Man Shot During Marijuana Deal

Folsom Police received a report of an abandoned car Friday evening, just before 10pm, at the intersection of Serpa Way and Fetter Court, near Iron Point Road.

Once at the scene, police officers found the vehicle in the intersection, with the engine still running. There was blood on the trunk of the car and a strong marijuana odor inside the vehicle.

David Strobehn, Missing in Folsom

David Strobehn, 66 years of age, described as 5’9”, 130 pounds, with gray curly hair, blue eyes, and a clean shaven face.

David was last seen during the morning hours of Friday November 26th at his apartment in Folsom. His maroon 1994 Toyota Tercel, California license 3VXD611 is also missing from his residence.
