21 Year Old Placerville Man Suffers Non-Life-Threatening Injury

Folsom Police received a report of an abandoned car Friday evening, just before 10pm, at the intersection of Serpa Way and Fetter Court, near Iron Point Road.

Once at the scene, police officers found the vehicle in the intersection, with the engine still running. There was blood on the trunk of the car and a strong marijuana odor inside the vehicle.

The investigation led officers to the emergency room of a local hospital, where they found the registered owner of the vehicle being treated for a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The man, a 21 year old Placerville resident, was shot with a revolver, while attempting to sell marijuana.

The shooter, identified as “Tony” from Elk Grove, is described as a Hispanic male, 5′ 10″ tall, around 165 pounds, wearing a red and black checkered jacket.
