The Folsom Lake College Regional Visual & Performing Arts Center was opened for a special media day. The Center aims to nurture the next generation of performing artists; to open up a world of culture to the region and to present the best in live performances from diverse traditions and disciplines.
Read MoreThe Zoo Sanctuary, which opened in 1963, provides sanctuary to animals that were injured or orphaned in the wild, or raised and rejected as wild pets.
Currently, more than 80 animals, including tigers, bears, sheep, deer, monkeys, foxes and wolves, reside at the Zoo Sanctuary.

Officers and Volunteers will be there to accept new toys from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Food, toys, and monetary donations will be gladly accepted through Friday, December 17. Baskets are distributed on Monday, December 20.
