Shannon Cheyne says construction crews continue with finishing touches on the 600-800 blocks of Sutter through this week and next. The finishing touches include the granite cross walks and raising the manhole covers to street level. These blocks will continue to be closed, off and on, while this is happening.
Next week is a HUGE week for this project. Crews will begin rebuilding Riley Street on Sunday, April 10 through Thursday, April 14. This will involve closing Riley Street and the Rainbow Bridge 24 hours a day while this work is happening. Because this closure will be impactful, see this link to review traffic control map. Next week, access to the parking lot below Powerhouse and in front of Clouds will be from Scott Street. The remaining work on Scott Street is scheduled the week of April 18.
