Pacific Western Traders in Folsom is geared up for the Spring/Summer 2013 Second Saturdays. Evening hours have been extended to 9 PM every second Saturday all the way through September.

Music is to be provided by Mary Youngblood and there will be Special appearances. Light refreshments are served from 5pm – 9pm.

Look out for Michael Rogers (Paiute) and Pauline Kothman (Paiute/Yurok) Native California jewelry, on Saturday, June 8th from 12-9 and also Sunday June 9th from 11-4.

On Saturday, July 13th 12-6, see Dr. Shirley Rowlands (Cherokee) the Cherokee Drum maker.

On Saturday, September 14th, Lorraine Luna will host a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s disease in honor of her father who she lost last year. The artists and Pacific Western Traders will donate a percentage of the evening’s proceeds. Lorraine (Mexican American) will show her ceramic art, Meyo Marrufo (Pomo) will bring Traditional jewelry, basketry, games and other interesting things, and Sergio Martinez (Zapotec), the Master weaver will be there with a display.

These great events really add to the Second Saturday atmosphere.
